June 29 is a day to recognise the bravery of those who live with #scleroderma.

4 years into scleroderma, weekly injection, frequent checkup and blood test..it doesn't get easier, but we learn how to live with it and praying hard that her condition doesn't worsen and affect her basic daily life.

While research is still going on to find a cure, we told her the pain you feel today will be your strength tomorrow, and your biggest strength will always be us - your family.

Spreading awareness is to let more people know more about the condition and seek treatment early, because it's rare and most cases only realised when they reach the later stage of the disease.

Once again, I'm thankful and will always remember friends who helped me and Yi He during our difficult times when she first diagnosed.

What is Scleroderma?
Scleroderma (sklair-oh-DUR-muh) is a rare autoimmune disease that involves the hardening and tightening of the skin and connective tissues.
